The 4th Thinknet 6G Summit is an international conference focussing on the future of communication networks - 6G. Organised by Bayern Innovativ, the event offers exciting presentations and panel discussions where leading 6G experts will shed light on current developments and visionary approaches to 6G. The future shape of the communications sector as well as the latest activities and research results will be discussed. It will also show how active participation in the 6G community is possible. The conference will also offer valuable opportunities for professional exchange and the expansion of professional networks in the field of 6G. Fortiss scientist and head of the IIoT competence field, Dr Rute C. Sofia, will take part in the panel discussion ‘Is 6G an evolution or a revolution?’ and talk about the future impact of 6G on the industry.

On the following day, the Technical University of Munich and the Technical University of Dresden will open their laboratories for the 6G Open Lab Day and offer industry partners and interested parties an exclusive insight into ongoing 6G research in Germany. Groundbreaking live demonstrations of research results from the 6G-life research centre and innovations from the Bavarian 6G Future Lab will be presented. This event will show how current research initiatives are paving the way for the next generation of communication networks.
